The Hip Arthroscopy Clinic is dedicated to treating hip pain by repairing damaged or worn hip joints in younger people. The treatments provided by the Clinic aim to return people to full activity and avoid hip replacement.

Until recently, if you were under about 50 years old and had pain in your hip or groin, you didn’t have many options. Your doctor would probably only be able to offer painkillers, physiotherapy, and an explanation that ‘You’re too young for a hip replacement’.

Lots of people found their activities limited because there was nothing that could be done to properly diagnose their problem, let alone treat it. But all that is changing.

The Hip Arthroscopy Clinic offers a specialised hip diagnosis and treatment service aimed at younger, active adults. The Clinic cares for people with unexplained hip and groin pain, sports injuries, early arthritis and congenital problems.
